Note on Leash Length: 
Our 3 ft, 4 ft, 5 ft, and 6 ft leashes are measured with the handle clipped in the standard position. Attaching the leash a hands-free adapter(SOLD SEPERATLY) adds approximately 12 inches to the total length. For example, a 5 ft leash will measure 5 ft with the handle clipped, and about 6 ft when attached to the hands-free adapter. When selecting your leash length, consider how you plan to use it — both hands-free and as a standard clipped leash — as well as your height, to ensure the best fit for your needs.
 
Leash Recommendation.
For most dogs, we recommend the 4 ft leash with our hands-free system.
For smaller or shorter dogs, a 3 ft leash works perfectly with our hands-free system — giving 4 ft when attached to the adapter and 3 ft when used as a regular clipped leash. This also helps prevent the leash from dragging on the ground.
